The Buffalo Bills are one of the favorites to win the Super Bowl this season, with odds of +1500, giving them the seventh shortest odds at the DraftKings.

The Bills are looking to capture the AFC East for the fifth consecutive season, with odds of +180 to make that happen, tied with the New York Jets for the shortest odds in the division.

After another playoff exit, Buffalo made some changes on both sides of the ball, giving quarterback Josh Allen, who has +900 odds to win the NFL MVP Award, new weapons at wide receiver.  Gone are Stefon Diggs and Gabe Davis, who were paired with Allen for the previous four seasons.

DIggs is in Houston and Davis is in Carolina.  In their place are 2022 draft pick Khalil Shakir, 2024 second-round pick Keon Coleman, and a host of veterans like Curtis Samuel, Mack Hollins, Chase Claypool, and Marquez Valdes-Scantling.

Running back James Cook (+7500 Offensive Player of the Year Award) is one of the more underrated ones in the NFL and tight end Dalton Kincaid and Dawson Knox are one of the better duos in the league.

Another offensive area to keep an eye on will be upfront on the line.  Long-time center, Mitch Morse is gone, with 2023 right guard Connor McGovern sliding over to take his place. The new right guard spot will likely be 2023 second-round pick O'Cyrus Torrence. The Bills are strong at tackle with Dion Dawkins and Spencer Brown but definitely have interior questions.

One defense, the Bills secondary will have two new faces at safety, with veteran safeties Micah Hyde and Jordan Poyer with new teams. Taylor Rapp and Mike Edwards will likely be the new pairing. Buffalo has some solid names with AJ Epenesa, Matt Milano, Terrel Bernard, Greg Rousseau (+12000 NFL Defensive Player of the Year), and Ed Oliver (+15000) forming a solid core, according to A gamble.com’s experts, an online gambling site comparison platform.

If you like Buffalo, there is some good value at +800 to win the AFC, which gives them the fourth shortest odds behind Kansas City, Baltimore, and Cincinnati. Buffalo is also +800 to earn the No. 1 seed in the AFC,

One bet that I like for Buffalo is over 3.5 wins in the AFC East division.  With New England really down this year, I think they can sweep them and split with New York and Miami to get to four wins at odds for -120.

Overall, I'm not high on Buffalo this season, so I'm passing on their Super Bowl odds and AFC East odds. There is just too much competition in a loaded AFC Conference and I'll take the Jets to win the AFC East.
