Bills Players Who Won’t Play Tonight Against the Titans
The Buffalo Bills are just over an hour away from their home opener for the 2022 regular season. It will also be a nationally televised game on ESPN, as they host the non-division rival Tennessee Titans at 7:15 pm from Highmark Stadium.
The Bills are talked about as the best team in the NFL and it's because of the incredible roster that general manager Brandon Beane has put together.
That roster has some injuries, however, as the Bills are preparing to play the Titans.
The Bills just released the team's inactives and they include both defensive tackles Ed Oliver and Tim Settle, who were both not expected to play. Oliver was ruled out on Saturday, while Settle went into the game listed as doubtful.
Wide receiver Gabe Davis will also not play, as he sprained his ankle in practice this past Saturday.
Here are the rest of the inactives.
Cornerback Dane Jackson will play tonight, after being questionable with a knee injury.
The Bills will have to rely on DaQuan Jones and Jordan Phillips in this game against the NFL's most physically gifted running back and future Hall of Famer, Derrick Henry.
The Titans have injury troubles of their own, as they lost edge rusher Harold Landry for the season before week 1 and will also not have Kristian Fulton, who is their number one cornerback. They will rely on rookie Roger McCreary and second-year pro Caleb Farley to cover the likes of Stefon Diggs, Jake Kumerow, Isaiah McKenzie and Jamison Crowder.
Both of their safeties are experienced veterans, however, with Kevin Byard and Amani Hooker, so will be asked to help out on defense against those receivers and tight end Dawson Knox.
