The Buffalo Bills were able to secure a much-needed win in Pittsburgh last night over the Steelers. Rightfully, Steelers fans were disappointed with the outcome, but one fan was upset by what happened in the stands instead.

Bills Mafia has been a generous fan base for years

One of the things that has set the Buffalo Bills fanbase apart from other fanbases is their reputation for being extremely charitable. It's not uncommon for Bills fans to begin making donations for other players' charities to support them through rough times, or to just show someone that it's always better to be nice than to be a jerk.

A Steelers fan is calling out some Bills fans after last night's game

Unfortunately, not every fan is the same. While 95% of the fanbase can be great, it only takes one bad apple to spoil the bushel. It's easy to say that Bills fans are a bunch of jerks when you have a bad experience with just one.

According to a girl who made a post on social media after the game last night, a few Bills fans made her bad night even worse after stealing her iconic "Terrible Towel" from them during the game.

The towel was special to her for an important reason

It's easy to say that it's just a towel, but to this girl, it was more than that. The reason it meant so much to her was that it was from her mom. It even had a special message embroidered on it.

To make it even worse, her mom is no longer with us. She is deceased, and evidently, the girl and her mom used to love watching Steelers games together.

Bills Mafia is now looking to get the towel back to it's rightful owner

You may have seen this girl's message on social media today. It's mostly being shared by Bills Mafia members hoping to get the towel back to the girl. They're even giving them the option to do it anonymously. They just want it returned.

As die-hard fans, we should understand what it's like to have such a love for a team that you share with a family member and how special some of those memories can be when that family member is no longer here.

Even if you aren't a fan of that team, you should be able to respect the reason why that towel means so much. I'm sure it was what you thought was a harmless joke, but it's time to help this girl find that towel.
