Yes, it snows in Buffalo. Winter is not easy in Western New York. It's cold, grey, and windy. As we all saw this past year, snow storms can get violent. The Christmas Blizzard crippled the city and region while claiming many lives. It was a terrible tragedy. However, something often misunderstood about the region is how beautiful spring can get, as well as how warm and gorgeous summer and fall are. The few months out of the year that are tough are worth the majority that are in fact enjoyable.

Spring Has Sprung

Speaking of, Buffalo is finally seeing the end to the grey and cold winter brings. Flowers are blooming, leaves are coming out, and the weather is turning comfortable. After a rough start to spring residents are being rewarded this week and weekend.

The National Weather Service is predicting absolutely perfect spring weather for the region now through Sunday. Only slight chances of rain and comfortable temperatures each day.

Get out and enjoy the sunshine, you earned it! If you're looking for things to do, the World's Largest Yard Sale is happening at the Hamburg Fairgrounds on Friday and Saturday. Mister's Battle of the Bands is Happening in East Aurora on Saturday starting at 7pm.

ESW BrawlFest takes place at Buffalo River Works Saturday.

The Buffalo Brawlers pro cornhole team has its home debut at Buffalo Riverworks Saturday.

Also, the Buffalo Bisons are home all weekend against Syracuse, so it'll be perfect weather to catch a ball game at Sahlen Field.
