It's been a little more than a month since Kelsea Ballerini became ill and had to cancel her show in Buffalo.  But the good news is that she's coming back!

On February 4th, fans in Detroit filled in every lyric as Kelsea struggled through her show while battling an illness.  Then just two days later she attempted to power through again as she made her way to Buffalo but then quickly realized that it just wasn't going to happen.  She was far too sick to provide the show that she was hoping to give her fans and she decided to cancel for the night.  One of her team members came back on stage to deliver the news to fans.

Shortly after the show she went on social media to apologize to all the fans that came out.

This week, Kelsea called to talk with me about what went into the decision and gave me info about when she will be coming back.

Let me just say on behalf of all of Buffalo, we are excited to have you back.  (Immediately she explained how awful it felt to have to walk off stage that night.)

It has to be one of the hardest things in the world for a performer to have to cancel in the middle of a show.  Who ended up having to make that call?

Just so you know, a lot of people thought you sounded great for the couple of songs that you did get to perform.

Will there be opening acts and will they be the same as the first time you came through?

I'm not sure how you keep up with your crazy schedule. Didn't you just release the deluxe version of your album "Patterns" just a couple of days ago?

Plus, you have The Voice! What is it like being in a group with stars like John Legend, Michael Buble, and Adam Levine? That's gotta be crazy!

And did Blake Shelton really warn you about Adam?

If you had tickets for the February 6th show in Buffalo, you will be able to use them to get into the rescheduled date on April 11th.  If you didn't get them the first time around and would like some, you can still get tickets now.
