New York State Announces Massive Addition To Buffalo

There is a large housing addition coming to the second largest city in New York State. The Governor announced over the weekend that a large amount of money has been set aside to revitalize an area in Buffalo.

The spring is here and so is construction season! As work continues on the new Bills stadium in Orchard Park, road construction, housing repairs, additions and new builds are underway!

But a new project will be starting soon in an area that was once considered for a possible site for the stadium.

According a post on "X" from Governor Hochul, "Part of our $25 billion housing plan, we’re taking a blighted eyesore & turning it into a vibrant community with safe, affordable homes for residents & families".

As far as the construction on the new stadium in Orchard Park, it has been exciting to see the progress. The stadium is expected to open in time for the 2026 season.
