MASSIVE Largemouth Bass Caught In New York State

According to a story from in-fisherman.com: "New York state record walleye catch, a massive 18-pound, 2-ounce beast caught on May 6, 2020, by angler Brian Hartman on the St. Lawrence River".

Here in Western New York, the Southtowns Walleye Association recently posted the results of their annual derby!

Enjoy the summer on the water! There is plenty of time for you to get out and do some fishing with the family. If it's walleye you want, and are on Lake Erie, New York offers this advice: "Look for rock piles, humps, or drop offs in about 20 feet of water. Weighted inline spinners or jigs tipped with worms or minnows are good choices. Walleye come into these areas in search of food during low light conditions, so morning and evening are usually best".

The next FREE weekend will take place in September on September 27 (National Hunting and Fishing Day).
