The Buffalo Bills are about to play in their third Thanksgiving Day game in four years and every one of those Turkey Day games has been in each of the three timeslots.

This year, the Bills will play at the Detroit Lions at Ford Field. Kickoff is at 12:30 pm.

The Bills will play their second straight game at Ford Field, after playing there on Sunday against the Cleveland Browns. The game was moved from Orchard Park to Detroit because of the lake effect snowstorm.

The Bills will be missing some key pieces on defense, as linebacker Tremaine Edmunds and edge rushers Greg Rousseau and A.J. Epenesa will all be inactive today with injuries.

The Bills also won't have center Mitch Morse with an ankle and elbow injury. Ryan Bates will move from guard to center, as Greg Van Roten at center in week 3 did not go well at all.

However, in a surprise to many Bills fans, starting cornerback Tre'Davious White will be active today against the Lions. It's his first game back this season.

White has been rehabbing ACL surgery and this game marks the one-year mark from his knee injury against the New Orleans Saints on Thanksgiving last year.

White was activated from PUP over three weeks ago but he has been inactive on game days. He will dress today.

My guess is White gets limited snaps. He won't be in there all the time and the Bills will ease him in.

The Lions have Amon-Ra St. Brown, who is one of the best wide receivers in the NFL.
