A spat between Elon Musk and Donald Trump gave some real credence to allegations of election fraud. There have been lots of questions about the validity of the presidential elections, but now a lawsuit is challenging the validity of the results in a county here in NY. According to World Population Review, New York is in the top 10 for blue states. We are not #1, though. That honor goes to Vermont. There are a few of the bluest states in the Northeast corner of the United States. Massachusetts and Maryland are also bluer than NY. Then things head out west - Hawaii and California are also above NY. There are lots of rural areas in New York, which traditionally vote red in elections.

As the old saying goes, 'Loose lips sink ships!' And Musk's lips have been pretty loose lately. Ever since he got fired quit DOGE to focus on his fledgling electric car business, he and Trump have been publicly quarreling. With the world watching the former besties fighting, some interesting information has come to light.

The back and forth between Trump and Musk ramped up with Musk writing on social media, "Without me, Trump would have lost the election, Dems would control the House, and the Republicans would be 51-49 in the Senate. Such ingratitude." Many people were already questioning the validity of the elections, so Musk's admission sent Kamala Harris supporters into overdrive. Musk's statement adds legitimacy to a lawsuit that was filed after Kamala received 0 percent of the votes in a county that overwhelmingly voted for a democratic senator in New York.

The lawsuit was brought on by SMART Legislation, which is a subsidiary of SMART Elections. The nonpartisan watchdog group filed the lawsuit over voting discrepancies in Rockland County, New York. There are alleged anomalies that have sparked concern, including "multiple districts where hundreds of voters chose the Democratic candidate Kirsten Gillibrand for Senate, but none voted for former Vice President Kamala Harris, the Democratic candidate for president," per Newsweek.

A judge on the New York Supreme Court ruled that the case could proceed to discovery. Lulu Friesdat, the founder and executive director of SMART Legislation, said, "There is clear evidence that the Senate results are incorrect, and there are statistical indications that the presidential results are highly unlikely."

A judge has issued a full recount of the ballots. With Rockland County in question and Musk admitting that he played some part in determining the results of the presidential election, as well as Congress, it seems like other counties may want to re-examine their results.
