It looks like we are going to have plenty of May flowers in Western New York, because we are expecting a lot more April showers than normal, at least according to the Old Farmer's Almanac.
Warmer And Wetter April Expected In Western New York
This week is the first full week of spring, and it will not feel like it here in the 716. In fact, it seems that this year has been on the cooler side with plenty of snow days mixed in.
That looks like it will change coming up next month. The Old Farmer's Almanac has released its long-range forecast for Western New York for April, and you are going to want to make sure you have an umbrella.

They are calling for a month that will be around 3 degrees warmer than normal, with an inch more of precipitation than normal.

The month will start rainy and warm in Western New York. That will continue through week 2 of the month before we have sunshine on tap for the 3rd week of the month.
