Where To Get Ice Cream In Western New York
Spring is right around the corner, and that means the ice cream shops across Western New York have opened or will be opening soon. So the big question is, where is the best spot for an ice cream cone in the 716?
Top Spots For Ice Cream In Western New York
There is no better feeling as a kid than when your parents tell you to hop in the car, and you are going for ice cream. I grew up in West Seneca, and I loved it when my two older brothers and I would hop in the backseat of our parents' car and head over to Kone King on Center Road in West Seneca. It was always a treat, and it was even better when we would head there after a soccer game.
With Ice Cream season almost here, here are some of the top spots to grab a cone or sundae in Western New York.
KONE KING
The location in West Seneca opened up this week, and they were pretty busy. This is the one that I used to go to as a kid. My favorite is the large twist with cherry dip. It makes for the perfect dessert or treat.
TWO SCOOPS
Located in Hamburg, Two Scoops is located pretty close to the Highmark Stadium, and sometimes during the summer, you can catch Bills players enjoying some ice cream after practice.
FROSTY'S
Look for the train caboose, and you will find Frosty's location in Lancaster. They actually have two locations to serve Western New York.
THE PINK COW
One of the cool things they do is a "Name Day." They will post their name or the names of the day, and if it is your name, you can get free ice cream. I am still hoping they will do Dave sometime this Summer.
