Buffalo Bills QB Josh Allen's banner year continued as he picked up two more nominations for awards this weekend.
Josh Allen Nominated For Two ESPY Awards
Allen was nominated for two ESPY awards, which will be presented live at the ESPYs on July 16th. Allen was nominated for Best Male Athlete and Best NFL Player. Allen joins Philadelphia Eagles running back Saquon Barkley as the only NFL players to be nominated for both awards.
ESPY Nominees for Best Male Athlete
Besides Allen and Barkley, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander from the Oklahoma City Thunder and Shohei Ohtani from the Los Angeles Dodgers are the other nominees for Best Male Athlete. This might be a tough category for Allen to win.
ESPY Nominees For NFL Player Of The Year
Allen and Barkley are joined by Lamar Jackson of the Baltimore Ravens and Patrick Surtain II from the Denver Broncos as the nominees for NFL player of the year. Allen might have the best chance to win this award since he was named the NFL MVP this year.
