“Big Money” Powerball Winner in New York

Saturday's Powerball drawing was very lucky for one lottery player in New York State.

"Big Money" Winning Powerball Ticket Sold In New York

One lucky Powerball winner took home the 3rd place prize of $50,000 from Saturday's Powerball drawing. That ticket matched four out of five numbers and also had the Powerball to win.

On top of that 3rd place winning ticket, there were also 24 4th place winning Powerball tickets sold in New York. Those tickets matched four out of five numbers but missed the Powerball. 22 of those tickets won $100 while the other two had the Powerplay and won $200.

The winning wasn't over just yet. There were 71 5th-place winning tickets sold in New York from Saturday Night's Powerball drawing as well. Those tickets won $100 dollars while seven of those tickets had the Powerplay, which means they won $200 each.
