“Big Money” Winning Powerball Tickets Sold In New York State

There were two "Big Money" winning Powerball tickets sold in New York State from last night's Powerball drawing.

There were two 3rd-place winning Powerball tickets sold in New York State from Friday's Powerball drawing. Those tickets matched four out of five numbers and had the Powerball number to win big. One ticket won $50,000 while the other ticket had the Powerplay and won $100,000.

On top of those winners, there were also 44 4th-place winning Powerball tickets sold in New York State. These tickets matched four out of five numbers but missed the Powerball. 37 of those tickets won $100, while the other 7 had the Powerplay and won $200.

There were also 58 5th-place winning tickets sold in New York. Those tickets matched three out of five numbers and had the Powerball number. 48 of those tickets won $100, while the other 10 had the Powerplay and won $200.

Here were the winning numbers from Friday's Powerball: 28-37-42-50-53 with a Powerball of 19.

Did Anyone Win The Grand Prize Powerball Jackpot?

There was no grand prize-winning ticket sold from last night's Powerball drawing. There were 4 2nd-place winning tickets sold in California, Iowa, Massachusetts, and Maryland. Those tickets matched all five numbers but missed the Powerball number and won $1 million.

Since no one claimed the grand prize, the jackpot for Monday's Powerball drawing is now up to $400 million.
