
When Will The Sun Return To Western New York?
It has been a VERY wet start to the month of May. If you are like me, you might have started to work on an ark just in case.
The big question we are all asking is when we will see the sun again in Western New York?
There is good news and bad news when it comes to that answer.
When Will It Be Sunny In Western New York?
According to the 7-day forecast from the National Weather Service in Buffalo, we are expecting rain at least through Wednesday evening. The next chance we will have of seeing some sunshine is on Thursday.
The current forecast is calling for partly sunny skies on Thursday with a high near 63. It looks like we will have some sunshine as we head into the weekend as well.

Will It Be A Warm And Sunny May In Western New York?
Here is where the bad news comes in. The Old Farmer's Almanac is calling for a slightly warmer month of May but a much wetter one than normal. While we will get some relief this week from the rain, they are calling for more rain next week and then in the final week of the month.
In fact, the best week of the month will be the week we head into Memorial Day.
How Does The Rest Of Summer Look For Western New York?
Again, this is not great news. Overall, the summer prediction for Western New York is a hotter and wetter than normal summer. Let's hope we can string together several nice days in a row in between the rainstorms.
