The start to the work and school day will be a messy one for thousands of New Yorkers. Mother Nature is bringing widespread snowstorms to parts of New York that will impact the morning commute.

Winter Weather Advisory For Western New York

After some relief from the snow on Monday, it returns to Western New York, and that will cause some very slick roads across the 716. A winter weather advisory is in place for Western New York from 1 am on Tuesday until 7 pm. While there won't be a lot of snow, most of the snow will come during the morning commute.


Several Inches Of Snow For Central New York

The snow continues in the central part of New York State. Anywhere between 1 to 6 inches of snow is possible, and the snow will continue through Tuesday morning, which will impact travel in the region. A winter weather advisory is in place from 2 am until 6 pm with anywhere between 3-6 inches during that time frame.

Icy Roads For Albany And Eastern New York

A Winter Storm warning is in place for parts of Eastern New York from 7 am on Tuesday to 1 am on Wednesday. Moderate to heavy snow will impact the
evening commute on Tuesday. Snowfall rates could be as much as 1 inch per hour.
