It would be a huge addition to an already potent offense.

The Buffalo Bills traded away star receiver Stefon Diggs to the Houston Texans in the offseason. Diggs was a favorite target of QB Josh Allen but had worn out his welcome. He had a lot of perceived on-field and locker-room drama, which he added to with cryptic social media posts. If nothing else, the Bills were clearly over him since they took a massive dead cap hit this season to trade him.

Regardless of the drama, real or fake, there is no denying Diggs is an all-world wideout that any team, let alone the Bills, would miss. General Manager Brandon Beane didn't replace Diggs with another big-name receiver, either. He instead drafted Keon Coleman, who has looked good so far, and signed fee agents like Curtis Samuel, Mack Hollin, and Marquez Valdez-scantling. In other words people with skill but not at the level of Diggs. The Bills already have Khalil Shakir on the rise as well as Tight NEd Dalton Kincaid.

So far, the loss of Diggs hasn't been huge. The team has taken an everyone-eats mentality and Khalil Shakir has led the team in receiving.

Still, after getting thumped by Baltimore Sunday night, adding a receiver who can make big plays would help and a big name is reportedly available right now.

Davante Adams is an all-world receiver. He has caught over 100 alls each of the last 4 seasons and doesn't look to be slowing down. As far as why he is available, Adams spoke with Kay Adams this morning about a potential trade.

The main issue with the Bills training for Davante Adams is cap space. The Bills have very little to work with this season after the Diggs trade, and Adams isn't cheap.

His contract would have to be re-worked for this season and pushed to next year where the Bills have a LOT of space to add players and contracts.

It would be a huge talent addition to the Bills. The question of course is if they will want to do that given their cap restrictions. Most would agree that Adams to the Bills would be a scary proposition with Josh Allen.

What do you think? It would cost a lot of draft picks in all likelihood for the Bills to get him. Adams is 31 years old, so how many quality years he has left is questionable.
