New University at Buffalo head football coach Peter Lembo is among the latest Erie County esident to pay more than $1 million for his new house.

Lembo and his wife, Jennifer paid $1.18 million for a five-bedroom house in Clarence’s upscale and Tony Spaulding Lake subdivision. The couple bought the 4,355-square-foot house from Jason and Asha Jones, according to documents filed in the Erie County Clerk's office.

Lembo was recruited to UB to coach the Bulls from the University of South Carolina, where  he was special teams coordinator.

This is Lembo’s first year coaching the Bulls.

Elsewhere in Clarence, Eric and Anna Palumbo paid $1.5 million for a four-bedroom, 3,619 square foot, newly built home at 9814 Longleaf Trail.

The house was developed by Natale Building Corp., according to Erie County Clerk’s documents.

The house is part of The Manors at Spaulding Green subdivision that Natale is developing.

All told, there have 27 private residences in Erie County that have sold for more than $1 million since Jan. 1.

Million dollar homes sales are considered a key economic telltale sign and indicator within the residential real estate industry.
