Good news for Allentown: Nietzsche’s new ownership nearly finalized

Despite the brick perimeter standing literally among the ashes, Mulligan’s Brick Bar will be torn down Tuesday morning following a devastating fire early Sunday.

We’re losing our spaces in Buffalo. Don’t take for granted the bars, music venues, and coffee shops you love; you don’t know whether they’ll be around tomorrow.

The owner of the legendary Swannie House on Ohio Street, Timothy Wiles, has passed away, and with the passing of his wife, Debbie Wiles-Fetterman, last year, the family has decided to close the bar and sell the property.

The calendar flips to October on Tuesday and brings with it the brand new season for the NHL and our Rasmus Dahlin-led Buffalo Sabres.
