Nicki Minaj, the Trinidadian-born rapper, singer, songwriter, and Harajuku Barbie, brings Gag City to Buffalo while sharing the stage with DJ Boof, Skillibeng, Bia, and Tyga for the Western New York stop of the second leg of the Pink Friday 2 World Tour. Thousands of Buffalonians sang and danced well past 1 am on Thursday, September 12, 2024, at the KeyBank Center in downtown Buffalo.

Shaquille O’Neal will be in the Western New York area this weekend, and you just might run into him!

Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Dave Mason took to the Riviera Theatre stage this past Tuesday night to perform an hour and 35-minute set.

Spotty weather didn’t damper what was the biggest show of the year for Batavia Downs. 38 Special made their back around after a sold-out show in 2022. That feat was nearly matched again but fell short probably due to the uncertainty of the weather.

Hip-hop, country, rock, pop, electronic, and every subgenre you can imagine will be playing in WNY and Southern Ontario.

Following the band’s summer tour, which includes an Aug. 9 show at Batavia Downs, they will be headed back into the studio to put together a double CD “legacy” package including greatest hits and new songs. The disc is due out next spring.

Slash asked a bunch of blues players to come out and support him on tour. For this show we had; Robert Randolph, ZZ Ward, and Keb Mo as the openers.

The country performer will be there on October 12.

Some of the best yacht rock artists came all together for a double bill of music at the Riviera Theatre this past Thursday night. Both Jim Messina (formerly of Loggins and Messina) and John Ford Coley (formerly of England Dan & John Ford Coley) took their fans on a ride back to the 1970s when both ruled the pop music charts.

Indie/alternative band The Flaming Lips made their way back through the WNY area this past Monday night playing Artpark in Lewiston.
