It seems as if we went strait from warm summer weather, straight into the stereotypical crisp air of fall. It's absolutely amazing how we went from 75 degrees to 50 degrees overnight.

The temperature went down to the low 40's early on Friday morning and it's officially fall (as of 9 pm on September 22nd). That means that Western New York will be enjoying tons of fall activities over the next five-plus weeks.

There are few places better to celebrate fall than Western New York. We have perfect weather for this time of year. There's beautiful fall foliage and we have so many things that make you want to throw on a hoodie with a pair of jeans and enjoy a pumpkin spice coffee or muffin.

My wife loves this time of year. She's already lit fall-scented candles and has broken out the classic Halloween movies, like Hocus Pocus and Halloweentown. She's also started to decorate our home in Halloween and fall-themed things, from the living room to the kitchen.

Don't get me wrong, summertime is awesome and it's something we all look forward to every year...but there is something magical about fall.
