The holiday shopping season is right around the corner and will more people will be shopping online, Amazon is looking to fill hundreds of openings here in Western New York.

Earlier this year, Amazon completed the building of a massive warehouse and shipping facility in Hamburg off route 5 and now they are looking to fill that space will plenty of employees. They are also looking for employees at their other facilities in Tonawanda and Lancaster as well.

According to the Amazon website, there are looking to fill several positions both full and part-time in three different categories.

Here is a look at the jobs that Amazon is looking to fill.

Amazon Fulfillment Center Warehouse Associate

This job entails making sure that boxes are sorted properly and sorted onto the right delivery truck. The pay rate for this job is up to $16.25 per hour with a possible $1000 sign-on bonus.

Amazon Sortation Center Warehouse Associate

In this position, you will be sorting, scanning, and stacking packages on pallets, helping to get customer orders ready for delivery. Most of these openings are part-time which means you will be able to have a flexible schedule. The pay rate for this job is up to $18.25 per hour with a possible $1000 sign-on bonus.

Amazon Delivery Station Warehouse Associate

In this position, you will receive trucks full of orders, then prepare them for delivery. You’ll load conveyor belts, and transport and stage deliveries to be picked up by drivers. The pay rate for this job is $19.50 per hour with a sign-on bonus of up to $1000.
