Updated Offseason Schedule for the Buffalo Bills
With the 2024 NFL Draft in the rearview mirror, Bills Mafia now turns to the offseason program. Before you know it, these rookies, highlighted by instant fan favorite Keon Coleman, will be getting on the field in their new Bills colors.
Bills Offseason Schedule: When Is Rookie Minicamp?
According to the most recent Collective Bargaining Agreement, each team’s voluntary nine-week offseason program takes place in three phases. Phase One is the first two weeks, which is limited to meetings, strength and conditioning, and physical rehab. Phase Two is a three week stretch with limited on-field drills at a walkthrough pace being permitted. Phase Three consists of the following four weeks, where teams are permitted to hold a total of 10 days of team practice activity. During this time, no live contact is permitted, but teams can go 11-on-11 for the first time.
Phase One of the offseason has already concluded, with limited activities taking place last month. Phase Two, which is the next three weeks, includes Rookie Minicamp, which will take place May 10-11.
When Are The Buffalo Bills OTAs?
After Rookie Minicamp and other on-field walkthroughs, the Bills will head towards Phase Three and OTAs. Buffalo’s OTA practice dates are as follows:
- May 20-21
- May 23
- May 28-30
- June 3-4, June 6.
When Is Mandatory Minicamp?
Minicamp, like the rest of the offseason program, is strictly laid out by the CBA. For each team, players will report on a Monday for physicals, practice Tuesday-Thursday, off day on Friday. Each team is permitted two practices totaling three and a half hours on the field per day, with the second practice being limited to walk-through activities only.

For the Bills, players will report on Monday, June 10, with Minicamp practices being held June 11-13.
