The Buffalo Bills play the Pittsburgh Steelers at Highmark Stadium this Sunday, for what is amazingly the Bills' first 1 p.m. home kickoff of the 2022 regular season; by week 5.

The Bills are two-touchdown favorites against the Steelers and even though both teams are not in the same division, the rather close proximity between both cities has made for a friendly non-division rivalry over the last 50 years.

Pittsburgh is known for its skyline views, three rivers and Primanti Bros., while we're known for beef on weck, the Bills and Sabres, and yes, chicken wings.

For the record, Buffalonians do not say "Buffalo wings." We don't even call them "chicken wings." We simply call them, "wings."

Well, on Friday, one Pittsburgh radio host and former Bills tight end made some hot take comments on the wings in Buffalo, while also comparing them to the wings in Pittsburgh.

Dorin Dickerson played six years in the NFL, including spending the 2012 season with the Bills during the Chan Gailey era with Ryan Fitzpatrick.

Dickerson is a Pittsburgh native and went to the University of Pittsburgh. He's now a co-host on The Fan Morning Show in Pittsburgh.

Dickerson said this morning that he's lived in both Pittsburgh and Buffalo (two years in Western New York) and said some pretty shocking things about wings in Buffalo.

"I lived there what, two years and played up there; you know I've lived here (Pittsburgh) my whole entire life and have had a bunch of different wings here in Pittsburgh and whenever I went up there (Buffalo), I wasn't impressed." said Dickerson.

"What's the difference of wings in Buffalo vs. wings in Pittsburgh? It's the sauces, maybe, but I think it's the name...there's only one way you make wings," added Dickerson.

Former Buffalo reporter and current Pittsburgh reporter Jenna Harner was quick to point out how wrong Dickerson is here.

I've not had wings in Pittsburgh, so I cannot speak to the quality of their wings but I have had wings in other parts of the country, as well as other New York state cities like Rochester and Syracuse...to say wings in Buffalo are not special is about as wrong a food take as you can have.

Bar-Bill, Nine-Eleven Tavern and Elmos have clearly not been had...
