An alert was sent out on apps such as Ring/Neighborhood that called for wind gusts as high as 50 miles per hour! That type of wind would cause crippling conditions on the roads in the areas impacted.

The NWS indicated that "Localized short-duration blizzard conditions will be possible with several feet of additional lake effect snow in the Great Lakes".

The areas in the warning zone are Southern Erie and Wyoming Counties with the most snow for the Boston Hills!

In the Tug Hill region, the snow was crazy last week and more is on the way. According to this photo that we received, the totals were more than 5 feet of snow that piled up in the Barnes Corners area in the popular Tug Hill snowmobile area.
