The NFL off-season is over and that's news to all football fans out there.

Some teams like the New York Jets have already begun camp, while most teams report tomorrow, with the first practice on Wednesday.

The Buffalo Bills will also start camp on Wednesday, with veterans reporting tomorrow morning at St. John Fisher University.

The mood is a little more calm, in terms of expectations. The Bills are not the Super Bowl darling they were last July and August. They still have one of the best rosters in the NFL but because of that playoff loss to the Cincinnati Bengals, they are not being picked by many to make it to the Super Bowl, even some saying they won't win the AFC East.

The Bills did lose a few players, such as linebacker Tremaine Edmunds, running back Devin Singletary and wide receiver Jamison Crowder.

They also decided not to re-sign wide receiver Cole Beasley, who signed with a new team over the weekend.

Beasley signed a one-year contract with the New York Giants, reuniting him with former Bills offensive coordinator Brian Daboll and former Bills assistant GM, Joe Schoen. Daboll is now the Giants head coach and Schoen is the Giants GM.

It was last October that Beasley retired, after playing a few weeks for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He came out of retirement to sign with the Bills practice squad in December and played in the playoffs; even catching a touchdown pass against the Miami Dolphins.

Beasley started his career as an undrafted free agent with the Dallas Cowboys. He signed with the Bills in 2019 and was an important part of the offense, which excelled in 2020 and 2021 under Josh Allen.

If you're wondering, yes, the Bills play the Giants this season. They host New York the Giants on Sunday Night Football on October 15th.
