There are plenty of discussions happening online about what type of business will fill the vacancy left by Arthur's Hardware Store. Arthur's was a staple in Orchard Park for decades and recently had to close it's doors and discontinue business. What is going to replace it? According to the rumors online, a fast food restaurant.

Orchard Park is one of the busiest and best villages in all of Western New York. Because of it's proximity to Highmark Stadium and being just a short drive to anything in Western New York, it is a great place to live and work. As the new Highmark Stadium is being built, business owners are keeping a close on the available real estate in the area.

I was scrolling through Nextdoor recently and as few posts about what is being planned caught my attention.

In a recent post, it was noted that before the end of this year, a new and popular fast food restaurant is likely going to be the new tenant.

As is normally the case, this drew mixed reactions online. Those in favor hoped for a drive thru and others joked they "hoped it would be a Dollar General". Regardless of what is being planned next, it is a great location and there is plenty of traffic that passes by everyday, especially for Bills games and concerts at Highmark Stadium.

It was nearly a year ago that Arthur's sent out a letter to customers that notified them that they would be closing up shop. "According to some of the letter, " It is with deepest regret to inform you that Arthur's Hardware and Arthur's' Home Furnishings will be going out of business effective February 1, 2025".

Looking forward to seeing what is going to be the next chapter for this busy corner in OP.
