The need for food to help feed the hungry is dire, but the good news is that you have a chance to "Stamp Out Hunger" this Saturday.

FeedMore Western New York has teamed up with the US Postal Department in Western New York to collect non-perishable food on May 10th.

According to Catherine Schick from FeedMore WNY, it is really easy to donate during the "Stamp Out Hunger" campaign.

  • To participate, simply leave a bag of nonperishable food items near your mailbox on May 10 for your letter carrier to pick up during their route. All the donations will stay local and support area food pantries.

One of the biggest food needs at FeedMore WNY is peanut butter. That is the one staple that is requested the most and given out the most across the region.
