Even though Buffalo is on the verge of another warming trend, that doesn't mean people who truly enjoy the cold weather in Buffalo are ready to pack it in for the year. There are all sorts of great winter-related things that you can still do in Western New York as we get closer to spring.

Even though the spring equinox will be in here in just a few weeks, outdoor ice rinks are still open, ski resorts continue to welcome people to slide down the slopes, and we still need to make sure our cars are prepared to handle bad weather because we're not out of the woods yet.

However, it seems that there is one Western New Yorker who decided to make sure his car was still ready for winter while having a tad bit of dangerous fun on Lake Erie.

A view posted to Facebook earlier this week shows something that you may only see in the 716.

The video shows a red Jeep Wrangler zipping along the shore of a Frozen Lake Erie off the coast of Hamburg, New York. The Jeep zooms back and forth while doing donuts and other fast car maneuvers along the ice on the lake.

This winter, the Buffalo region has been hit with some seriously cold weather, which has helped Lake Erie freeze to a level that hasn't been seen in a few years. While we do not suggest that anyone should literally drive on the Great Lakes, this mini adventure looks pretty fun.

There is a warming trend on the way to the 716, so this may be the last time we actually see a car drive on Lake Erie for a while.
