The Buffalo Bills are a franchise that is now associated with winning and being a playoff contender, year in and year out.

Head coach Sean McDermott and general manager Brandon Beane are a big reason for that, as are players on the field such as Stefon Diggs, Dion Dawkins, Matt Milano, Jordan Poyer and Micah Hyde.

But the number one reason why the Bills are 5-1 this season and have made the playoffs the last three seasons is because of who plays quarterback.

Josh Allen has turned around the team in ways we could only dream of a decade ago.

He's now regarded as arguably the best player in the National Football League and it's hard to think about where he came from.

The only real NFL talent to come out of Firebaugh, California. Only one football scholarship (University of Wyoming), and the highest-drafted player from Wyoming ever drafted. He was regarded as a late bloomer and broke out in his third season in the NFL.

Allen's signature move now is to hurdle an opposing player. He's done it at least four times in his NFL career, with the latest coming on the game-winning drive against the Kansas City Chiefs in Arrowhead Stadium on Sunday.

But did you know that Josh hurdled a player in junior college as an 18-year-old?

It was Reedley College and Bills QB Watch tweeted the video this week.

Allen played one season at Reedley College before going to Wyoming; then to the 2018 NFL Draft, where he was drafted by the Bills at seventh overall.

Chances are, we have not seen the final hurdle from number 17.
