Whether you grew up in the '60s, '70s, '80s, '90s or even the 2000s, you probably have some personal favorite restaurants that used to be in Western New York, but closed down for whatever reason.

I grew up in the '90s and early '2000s, which meant I straddled the era of restaurants that were hanging on in the '90s and those 2000s memories that people in their 20's remember well.

Here in Buffalo, we have plenty of amazing restaurants which are either locally owned here in Western New York or a small chain with a few locations (such as Tully's Good Times, for example).

There are so many past restaurants that used to be in Buffalo that we all loved. For specific reasons that likely had to do with money, they closed down over the years and left a hole in hearts of Buffalonians.

I personally loved Zebb's and was sad when they closed just two or three years ago. It was also one of the first places my now wife and me went to, when we first started dating.

We asked on Facebook, "which old restaurants that used to be in Buffalo did you always go to?"
