The month of November is upon our doorstep and we are about to embark on the long awaited discussion of "how early is too early to play Christmas music and put up holiday decorations?"

Thanksgiving is less than four weeks away and you know that holiday items will be everywhere shortly, as we trade in pumpkin spice for all things Christmas at restaurants and retailers.

Here in New York State, there are a few big fast food giants and they even have more of a hold on consumers because of the lack of western and southern-based food chains.

McDonald's, Burger King and Wendy's are the big three here and if you love going to Wendy's, there will soon be a brand new flavor of frosty to try.

The frosty flavor will replace strawberry and be in all stores nationwide, including New York, starting on November 15th and presumably, lasting through the holidays.

This will be the first time Wendy's has ever introduced a peppermint frosty. Years ago they introduced a vanilla flavor to go along with their classic chocolate, and later added strawberry.

I'm excited to see how this turns out because I love the Wendy's frosty and peppermint is one of my go-to flavors during the holidays.

All Wendy's should be selling the peppermint frosty, so any location will do come November 15th.

We have to wait and see if this will be an annual occurrence every November and December for the fast food giant.
