$2 Million Dollar Winning Powerball Ticket Sold in Buffalo

Someone in the 716 is waking up this morning VERY HAPPY.

The New York State Lottery announced that a 2nd place-winning ticket from Wednesday's Powerball drawing was sold in Buffalo.

That ticket matched all five numbers but missed out on the Powerball.

The good news is that the ticket did have the "Powerplay" which doubled the prize amount, so that ticket won $2 million dollars.

The ticket was sold at the 7-11 at 8000 Main Street in Buffalo.

Wednesday's winning Powerball numbers were: 4-27-44-50-64 with a Powerball of 07.
