Mr. Boombastic Himself Is On The Way To Western New York

The 2025 concert season in Western New York and Southern Ontario has already been one for the record books. We've had some great concerts and shows in the region already. Just look at who's graced stages all over the 716, 416, 905, and 585 already.

We've had great shows from Kevin Hart, Mary J. Blige, Disturbed, Carly Pearce, and more come to town and entertain crowds for hours. That's just a sampling of what's been happening, and there are tons more to come.

As warmer weather starts to set in for the region, outdoor shows will begin, and a new show that was just announced is sure to take you down memory lane.

Mr. Boombastic Himself Is On The Way To Western New York

Mr. Orville Richard Burrell, who's entertained people all over the world for years, is better known by his stage name, Shaggy.

With a music career that has spanned more than 30 years, Shaggy took some of the talent he honed while serving in the United States Marine Corps during the Persian Gulf War and used tons of dedication and skills to earn him several music awards, including two GRAMMYS. He released more than 15 albums in his career while earning multiple RIAA Gold and Platinum awards.

Shaggy is on the way to Western New York to entertain thousands of folks when he performs at the Erie County Fair on Saturday, August 9, 2025.

2025 also marks the 185th year of the Erie County Fair, and fair officials have tons of great things on the agenda for those who want to attend this summer.
