Significant Snow For Portions Of Western New York

There are some reports that a significant amount of snow is on the way as cold air will arrive in to Western New York.

The year will end with rain and the snow will arrive for the first day of 2025. As we start Wednesday, the lake effect machine will fire up.

According to the reports, the winter storm watch goes into effect tomorrow morning and lasts until Sunday afternoon for Wyoming, Chautauqua, Cattaraugus, and Southern Erie counties.

How prepared are you for the snow? Did you take the Christmas decorations down? The last few days have been very warm by December in Buffalo standards. With temps in the upper 50's and rain and wind, the snow that we did have is just about gone!

That will change south of Buffalo as we get closer to the weekend. The kids in the area will be heading back to school just in time for moms and dads to go back to work.
