What’s Happening In Western New York: Tuesday Edition
Here is a look at some of the top stories in Western New York.
1 – It is going to be cold and windy across Western New York, we are waking up with wind chills in the 30s, and our high is expected to be around 44. We are also seeing some light rain and even some wet snow in the Southern Tier in places like Olean and Jamestown. The cool weather will be with us for the rest of the week as we will have highs in the upper 40s/Low 50s heading into the weekend.
2 – It was a case of Good News/Bad News for Bills fans yesterday. The team announced that they have opened the 21 practice window for Matt Milano with hopes of him returning to action after next week’s bye week. The bad news is that Keon Coleman has been ruled out for a 2nd straight week due to a wrist injury. The rookie will not play in Sunday’s game against the Chiefs. The Bills are still hoping that Amari Cooper will be able to return after his own wrist injury for Sunday’s game. Kick-off is set for 4:25 pm, make sure to join us for the “We Are Buffalo” tailgate at Prohibition 20/20 before the game.
3– The Buffalo Sabres winning streak was snapped at 3 games after they fell to the Montreal Canadians at KeyBank Center yesterday afternoon 7-5. After the game, Head Coach Lindy Ruff said the team just didn’t do what they had to do to win. Besides losing the game, the team also lost Tage Thompson to a lower-body injury. There is no word yet on how long he will be out of the lineup.
