All-You-Can-Eat Japanese and Thai Restaurant Coming to Buffalo
After the extremely difficult 2020 and 2021, the restaurant and bar industry in Western New York has started to rebound a bit.
We love when new restaurants or bars get announced as coming to the Buffalo region. Sometimes it's a brand new, local place; other times it's a national or regional chain that is opening its first location in Western New York.
Buffalo loves its local establishments but it's really awesome when restaurants that we don't see very much of here, open up.
That's the case with what will soon be coming to Transit Road in the near future.
Buffalo Business First is reporting that Wind Group Inc. has leased the former Santora's Pizza Pub & Grill location on Transit Rd. in Amherst, which is directly across from the Eastern Hills Mall.
It's for an all-you-can-eat Japanese and Thai restaurant called Wind Japanese and Thai.
Wind has several locations in Canada, including one in Niagara Falls and the other in St. Catherines, and will now be opening their very first U.S. location in the Buffalo region.
Wind is unique, not only because it serves up a wide variety of Japanese and Thai dishes, including a wide assortment of sushi options, but they're also all-you-can-eat.
Customers can order the all-you-can-eat lunch or dinner option, or order a la carte.
The Buffalo region has some great Japanese and Thai restaurant options but not nearly as many as other cuisines, and certainly few and far between options for all-you-can-eat Japanese and Thai.
I love the look of the chain's menu and it looks like Western New York can't wait for this location to open; they also have further locations planned for Western New York down the road.
