Wizkid Is On His Way To North America

The concert season in Western New York and Southern Ontario is kicking off with a bang with some great concerts on the regional agenda. So far in 2025 we've heard about some shows that should interest someone in just about every genre.

From Toronto to Buffalo, Niagara Falls to Rochester, and everywhere in between, there are shows for every kind of music fan. This especially goes for fans of Afrobeats as one of the top performers of African music is heading to the Golden Horseshoe.

Wizkid Is On His Way To North America

Born Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun in Ojuelegba-Surulere, Lagos, Nigeria, Wizkid is largely credited as exposing the larger word with the Afrobeats sound. With six studio albums and numerous music awards. His accolades include 2 BET Awards, Three Billboard Music Awards, 5 NAACP Image Awards, and a GRAMMY. With hit singles like Essence, that features Tems and Justin Bieber, and Brown Skin Girl with Beyoncé, Saint Jhn and Blue Ivy Carter; it's no surprise that Wizkid is grabbing such attention.

Wizkid holds the distinction of being the most awarded African artists in the world, and if you consider yourself a fan, you have a chance to his him when he hits Southern Ontario.

Wizkid's Morayo World Tour is on the way to North America when it hits ScotiaBank Arena on Wednesday, June 11, 2025.

Wizkid was supposed to perform in Toronto a couple years ago during his More Love, Less Ego Tour, the dates were canceled and couldn't be rescheduled.

Tickets to the Morayo World Tour are on sale now via Ticketmaster or at the ScotiaBank Arena Box Office in downtown Toronto.
