There is a rare, and fun, event that is planned for this month and your teen driver can sign up now! This FREE event is being offered for teen drivers in the Buffalo and Western New York area.

Although we need to pay attention when we drive all year round, the summer is the most dangerous as there are more distractions and more people and pedestrians on the road.

In a recent post on "X", formerly Twitter, a fun event is coming up on July 13!

The post on "X" states that, "Enroll your teen driver in FREE training to learn e-scooter safety, bike/ped tips and the dangers of distracted and impaired driving. July 13 or 14 in Buffalo with @FordPhilanthropy Driving Skills for Life".

As of early on Tuesday, there were many spots still available and a variety of session times for your teen to pick!

What will be offered and what will your teen driver learn? Looks like a great itinerary! According to the website post, "The Ford Driving Skills for Life Safety in Mobility program is a free hands-on clinic to help newly licensed drivers (teens with a permit or license) improve their skills by calling their attention to the needs of vulnerable road users (pedestrians, scooter riders, and cyclists)".
