Here Is What’s Happening In Western New York For Thursday

1 – The cooldown across Western New York continues today as we will see temperatures drop around 15-20 degrees since Tuesday. We are looking at highs near 58 and we will be in the 50s for the rest of the week and into the weekend. The Old Farmer’s Almanac is also calling for possible lake effect snow in a couple of weeks as well, with possible snow coming out way the week of Thanksgiving.

2 – Buffalo’s Tyler Bass picked up a special award this week, he was named the AFC Special Teams Player of the Week after he set a new franchise record with his 61-yard game-winning field against the Dolphins on Sunday. It was a rough day for Bass as he missed a PAT and had another one hit the goalpost before going in. Josh Allen told the media this week, the team is behind Bass and has faith in all the players on the team. Up next for the Bills is a road game in Indy against the Colts on Sunday. Kick-off is set for 1 o'clock and can be seen locally on WIVB Channel 4.

3 – You can find the best pizza in the entire world right here in New York State, an Italian-based company recently released its rankings of the Top 50 pizzas in the world, and atop the list was New York City based  Una Pizza Napoletana. 5 –The Buffalo Sabres are back in action tonight as they hit the road to take on the New York Rangers at Madison Square Garden. The Sabres are coming off a 5-1 win over Ottawa on Tuesday, but Head Coach Lindy Ruff said some players are being healthy scratches due to not meeting his standards (audio) The Sabres are looking for their 6^th win of the season tonight.

6 – It looks like Josh Allen and his girlfriend Hailee Steinfeld are good at predicting the genders of babies. They were at Bills QB Shane Buechele’s gender reveal party and gave a guess that Shane and his wife were having a baby girl. According to Paige Buechele’s Instagram page, they nailed the pick as Baby Buechele is going to be a girl.
