Here is a look at what is trending today around Western New York.

-It will be a dry start to our Monday Morning commute but that will change as the morning progresses, a warm weather front will bring some mild temps and rain in Western New York starting after 7 this morning. The rain will continue on and off today and into Tuesday with temperatures in the mid-40s.

- Don’t get too use to the mild weather here in Western New York, the Polar Vortex is shifting South later this week and will bring a blast of cold arctic air to the 716. Temperatures will start to drop on Wednesday with Lake Effect snow possible starting on Thursday with highs in the upper 20s. The cold weather looks to stay with us through the weekend.

- The Buffalo Bills were part of one of the most high-scoring NFL games of the year yesterday and game out on the wrong end losing to the LA Rams 44-42. During the game, Josh Allen became the only NFL player to throw for 3 TDs and rush for 3 TDS in a single game. The game came down to the last minute when the Bills had to use a timeout before scoring to make it a 2-point game. After the game head coach Sean McDermott defended his play call on the goal line. Up next for the Bills is another tough road game against the Detroit Lions on Sunday. Kickoff is set for 4:25 and can be seen on WIVB Channel 4.

- Saturday’s Powerball drawing was very good for one lucky New York State resident. The New York State Lottery announced that one grand prize winning ticket was sold in Flushing, New York. That ticket matched all the numbers and took home the $256 million grand prize, making it the 5th largest lottery jackpot ever won by a New York State resident. Your next chance to win the Powerball happens tonight, with the next drawing set for 10:59 pm. The jackpot has reset to the minimum $20 million dollars.
