Here Is What's Happening In Western New York: Monday Edition

1 – It is a Victory Monday as the Bills ruined the Kansas City Chiefs' undefeated season beating them 30-21 at Highmark Stadium. Things were close until Josh Allen took over in the 4^th quarter and had what Jim Nance of CBS TV said was the play of the year. The Bills are now 9-2, they are off this week due to their BYE, and then will be home for Sunday Night Football on December 1^st as they host the San Fransico 49ers.

2 – For the first time in their history, the CBS Football crew were live on location at an NFL stadium during the regular season and it paid off for one Buffalo Bills fan. Nate Burleson who was decked out in a bright red jacket during the show bet that jacket against a Bills Mafia member. If anyone knows “Justin” reach out to Burleson on social media so he can send the jacket to Buffalo.

3– Today will be a mild day across the 716 with dry conditions and a high near 54 but that will change as we get closer to the weekend. All the weather models are calling for snow across New York starting this Thursday, how much and where all depends on what model you are looking at. It looks like much of the projected snow will be in the Southern Tier and Central New York.

4 – Double-check your baby carrots this morning. The FDA has issued a recall for baby carrots sold by Grimmway Farms after an outbreak of E. coli has left one person dead and dozens sick across several states. The organic carrots were sold at stores like Trader Joe's and Wegmans. You are advised not to eat the carrots and return them to the store where you purchased them for a refund.
