The Buffalo Bills handed the Kansas City Chiefs their 4th loss of the season on Sunday, winning 28-21. It was a big win for the Bills, who answered a lot of their critics' doubts. Josh Allen looked like the MVP. The offense produced on the ground and in the air. The defense looked solid for most of the game and pressured Patrick Mahomes all night.

It was a great night to be a Buffalo Bills fan, but it came at a cost.

Michael Hoecht joined the Bills this offseason and was immediately suspended for six games for violating the NFL's substance policies. He was surprised, but vowed to be ready once his number was called, and he was. Hoecht immediately made a huge impact on the Bills' defence. Unfortunately, though, his time was short-lived.

Hoecht left the Kansas City game with a leg injury that was later confirmed to be a season-ending Achilles tear. It's a devastating loss for a player who has made a big impact. Hoeht, though, vows to back.

Hoecht broke his silence, if that's what you want to call it, on X and put out the following:

If anyone can come back from an injury like this one, it's Michael Hoecht.
