Living in Western New York offers numerous benefits and can leave you with a high level of satisfaction when you explore all that the region has to offer. Not only do we have great food on just about every corner in the area, but we also have great sports and access to one of the largest bodies of fresh water in the world. This, of course, doesn't include being right on an international border with one of the largest cities in North America, less than 2 hours away by car.

Being that Canada is just a few minutes away and you can find yourself running through the streets of the six rather quickly, it's sometimes easy to forget how easy it is to make a mistake and end up in Southern Ontario instead of another part of Western New York.

This exact thing happened to another man, and that small mistake has landed him in a ton of trouble with law enforcement.

Customs Agents Make Big Marijuana Bust At Peace Bridge In Buffalo

It's not the first time that it's happened, and it's surely not going to be the last time. According to a Press Release from U.S. Customs and Border Protection, 43-year-old United Ronald Nunn was driving a rental truck with 78 pounds of marijuana in the back, which is something you should probably be a little more careful when moving around with.

CBP officers, who estimate that the weed has a street value of more than $230,000, turned Mr. Nunn over to the Buffalo Police Department, who then charged him with Criminal Possession of Cannabis, which is a Class D Felony in New York State.

The stretch of I-190 near Porter Avenue in Buffalo can be a tricky intersection, so hopefully, you are more careful than Mr. Nunn was when he was driving around the area.
