1 –The cold is here in Western New York. A cold front that brought plenty of wind yesterday has cooled us off today. We are looking at a high of only 53 today which is nearly 20 degrees cooler than it was on Tuesday. That cold will be with us into early next week before another warm-up just in time for Halloween.
2 – There was one winning ticket sold from last night’s Powerball drawing. That ticket matched all five numbers and had the Powerball and took home the $478 million dollar jackpot. That ticket was sold down in Georgia, but the good news was there were multiple winning tickets sold in New York. According to the New York State Lottery, there were over 100 4th and 5th place winning tickets sold in New York, each one of those tickets won $100. 3 – Halloween is just 8 days away and the Salvation Army of Buffalo is still in need of new and gently used costumes for kids in need. Laurie Krajna the Development Director, of the Salvation Army in Buffalo said there are over 40 kids in need this year. You can drop off your donation during normal business hours at the Salvation Army of Buffalo office at 960 Main Street, Buffalo.

4 – The NFL tradeline is coming up on Tuesday, November 5th and the Bills have been linked to several high-profile players including Cleveland Brown defensive end Myles Garrett and LA Rams wide receiver Cooper Kupp, but there is one player that could leave Buffalo. The Bills could move off former 1st-round pick Kaiir Elam before the NFL trade deadline. If the Bills were to trade Elam, they would save nearly $2 million dollars in cap space for this season.
5 – If you grew up in the 90s, this will take you back. Abercrombie & Fitch is set to make a comeback to Western New York. The company announced that set to reopen stores across the Country including a location at the Galleria Mall. The store will be open just in time for Christmas shopping as their doors are expected to open on November 1.

6 – Double-check your waffles and pancakes this morning, A massive recall that impacts several different brands has been issued because of possible listeria contamination. These waffles and pancakes were sold all across Western New York at stores like Walmart, Target, and Wegmans. If you have a recalled package of waffles or pancakes, you should return it to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.
