1 - Get ready for some warm weather across Western New York this week. After a chilly weekend, we will see above average temperatures today and through the week. Today we are looking at a high near 62 and we could be back into the 70s before settling back into the 60s the rest of the week. The average temperature in Buffalo for this time of year is around 48 degrees.
2 - It was a record-setting win for the Buffalo Bills on Sunday. The Bills extended their winning streak to four games as Tyler Bass set a new franchise record with his 61-yard game-winning field goal. After the game Head Coach Sean McDermott gave Bass the game ball for bouncing back from a missed extra point to secure the win. Up next for the Bills is a road game in Indianapolis as they take on the 4-5 Colts.
3 – If you are looking to increase your chances of winning the lottery you might want to take a drive to Newburgh, New York. The store “Smoke 4 Less” sold 6 “Big Money” winning lottery tickets in the month of October and 6 million dollar winning Powerball tickets since last November. It is about a 5-hour drive but could be worth it if you win a million dollars.
4 – Early voting is officially over in Western New York. Over 100,000 people went out and cast their votes during the early voting people in Western New York. Polls will be closed today and then reopen tomorrow on Election Day from 6 am until 9 pm. You will need to vote at your assigned polling place tomorrow on Election Day.

5 –Yesterday was the most hated day in New York as we moved the clocks back an hour for Daylight Saving time. If you are like me, not all your clocks switch and you might have felt like you were late when you were in your car or you woke up to very cold coffee. Also, pet owners might have found themselves dealing with a pet who wanted dinner earlier than normal. Experts say you should be back into a normal routine within four days of moving the clocks.
6 - Officials with the New York State Department of Transportation are warning drivers to be more alert as we continue the deadliest time of the year for deer/car accidents. October through December is the time the most fatal deer/car accidents happen across the state due to increased activity of deer during rutting season. Most deer are active are dawn and dusk and you should be extra careful when driving around during those times.
