The Best Yard Games To Play This Summer In Buffalo

It is time for grad parties, and birthday parties, and parties just because its summer.  If you'll be outside, you have to have at least one of these for your guests.

We only get so many days in the summer to live it up.  So when we get the chance, Buffalonians do everything they can to make sure they can party outside.

When you're blessed with a warm afternoon out in the sun, the best thing you can do is grab a cold beverage and some friends to get together and play a game.  Most of the time, those games involve tossing or throwing something across the yard.  The best ones are simple games that can take your mind off of things even if just for a couple of minutes.

What are your options then?  There are plenty to choose from.

Some are more dangerous than others.  How many times do you remember running around as a little kid at a party and then suddenly hearing "WATCH IT!" followed by the uncomfortable sound of a horseshoe that whizzed right past your head and landed with a thump not far from where you were running?  Horseshoes was a dangerous game to be around and there were adults drinking heavily when they were playing it.  But everyone played it and it was a blast.  I won't even get into Jarts (or lawn darts) and how dangerous (but fun) those things used to be.

Always take the proper precautions when choosing games for your party, but if you're going to have people over this summer, you should have at least one or two of these on hand for them to play.
