Bills Take Hilarious Shot at The Jets With New Stadium Renderings
The day has finally come. The Buffalo Bills have released the first renderings of what their new $1.4 billion stadium in Orchard Park will look like.
On Thursday morning, the Bills released two renderings of the stadium. One was an exterior shot of the stadium from the plaza, while the other was an interior shot inside the stadium.
This new stadium will be built directly across the street from Highmark Stadium and be an open-air style stadium, covering over half the fans with the canopy.
Something some Bills fans are noticing, however, with the inside shot of the new stadium rendering.
If you look real close on the scoreboard from the distance, it says “Bills 24 Jets 3.”
That’s right, the Bills decided to have their team beating the AFC East rival Jets by three touchdowns in the rendering.
I can’t tell which quarter that fictional game is taking place in but wouldn’t surprise me if it’s only the second or third quarter.
The Bills, Erie County and New York State still have to finalize the memorandum of understanding and the environmental review process still needs to be completed, which Erie County Executive Mark Poloncarz said earlier this month will likely be by early December.
The plan is still to break ground by next year, with the expected opening to be the fall of 2026.
One thing some fans may be overlooking is that parking will be at a premium over the next several years when the new stadium is being built, since it’s going where current parking is.
Something to keep in mind when going to games between 2023-2025.
