It's hard to believe we’re already halfway through June (just about), which means it’s time to grab a cold one and celebrate dads.

If you still need an idea of what to do on Father’s Day, or if you’re looking for somewhere to send the father figure in your life, here’s a list of options from the crafty to the sport to the creative to the boozy -- something for everyone!

If there’s a man in your life who likes to run and enjoys classic off-kilter superheroes from the ‘80s, check out the Father’s Day race sponsored by Moon Joggers. There are a variety of race lengths, including a 1 mile, 5k, 10k, half, and full marathon, and the best part is, he can decide when and where to run! This is a virtual challenge open to anyone and 15% of all registrations will benefit Team Hoyt, an organization “dedicated to fostering the character, confidence and self-esteem of disabled and physically challenged young people throughout America.” More information on the races and registration can be found here.

If you’re looking to treat dad to brunch, it’s not too late to get a ticket for the Father’s Day Brunch at the Oakk Room, 1435 Main Street in Buffalo. There are two seatings available, at 11:30 a.m. or 2 p.m., but it’s likely to sell out! Learn more about this event here.

Is the dad in your life a boat guy? Treat him to a Father’s Day River Cruise! There are a variety of options available all weekend with Grand Landy Cruises, including a dinner cruise Friday night with Chef Camille Le Caer, a Buffalo star who has worked in acclaimed French restaurants in New York City before making Western New York his home. There’s also a brunch cruise on Sunday that’s typically only for those 21+, but they’re making an exception this week to make it a family-friendly event. Learn more about your riverfront cruise options here.

Did you grow up with a competitive father always encouraging you to try your best and to keep your skills sharp? Dave and Busters is hosting the Dad Games at the Walden Galleria location. From 12-2 p.m. on Sunday, dads will have a chance to compete for the chance to win free games for a year while enjoying a buffet of pizza, chicken bites, pretzel dogs, fries, and cheeseburger sliders among other treats. Go here to learn more.

Maybe your dad is a little more into the great mysteries of life, like whether Bigfoot is real. You’re in luck! Treat your dad to a photo with Bigfoot courtesy of Paranormal Oddities in Depew. Photo sessions are available from 12-3 p.m. on Saturday, June 15 and everyone goes home with a 4x6 photo with the mythological creature itself. More information on this once-in-a-blurry-lifetime opportunity can be found here.

Looking for something a little more traditional? How about taking dad -- or uncle or grandpa or big brother, whoever fits this role in your life! - to a ballgame? Resurgence Brewing is hosting a Father’s Day Brunch and Baseball Bash, starting with a brunch buffet at 10 or 10:30, followed by a trip to Sahlen Field for a 1 p.m. game as the Bisons take on the Worchester Red Sox. There’s even more fun to be had at the ballpark, with a logo baseball giveaway and a game of catch! If brunch isn’t your thing, tickets to the Bisons game can be purchased here.

Or you can do what your dad might really want: Drop off some of his favorite snacks and beverages and let him hang out in the yard, undisturbed. It’s his day!
