NLL Finals Set As Buffalo Bandits Look To Three-Peat

The NLL Finals are now set.

The Saskatchewan Rush punched their ticket to the Finals by sweeping the Halifax Thunderbirds in their Semifinal matchup. They will face off against the Buffalo Bandits, who also swept their semi-final opponent to make it to the NLL Finals for the 5th straight year.

Buffalo Bandits Have Home Field Advantage In Finals

The road to the NLL Championship trophy runs through Buffalo and KeyBank Center. The Bandits finished the regular season with the best record and had home-field advantage in the NLL Playoffs. That continues in the Best of Three Finals. Game one will be this Friday at KeyBank Center. Game two will be Sunday in Saskatoon, and if needed, game three is back in Buffalo at KeyBank Center on Saturday, May 24th.

These two teams only played each other once during the regular season. The Bandits won the game 9-7 at SaskTel Centre in Saskatoon, Canada.

Buffalo Bandits Looking For NLL Championship Three-Peat

The Bandits have been one of the best teams in the NLL for the past several years. They have been to five straight NLL Championship series. They are 2-2 in those finals, but have won two in a row and are hoping to win a third straight this year.

This is the first time the Saskatchewan Rush have made the NLL Championship since 2019. They did win it all in 2016 and 2018.
